More Beetlejuice

 He won't leave my sketchbook. First up- a cross between film/cartoon B. Pure sleaze :P

 Second- I'm thinking of running an 'Ask B' on Tumblr- there are some very fumy ones and answering in pictures would be a fun challenge. So i settled on this style- more film than cartoon but simplified. Well, we'll see XD

Lastly- when fandoms collide! My flatmate is on a massive Sherlock kick right now- so Jim Moriarty meets B in doodleland happened.

When i was a very little girl- i had a crush on someone i probably shouldn't. Like most little girls then. Except this crush happened to be a filthy old Poltergeist. And i still love him even now.

The film came back into my life in a big way at a time of need, and has cheered me right up. Mr. B now sneaks into my art whenever he can and is very distracting.

 First sketch- not really pleased but it still makes me laugh. Based closely on another photo of Mr.Keaton.

Copieds from DA for lazycat reasons-

Rambling and film thoughts- may be a tad spoilery.
Whilst celebrating my birthday and happy lounging around our hotel room, my good friend suggested we watched a little wrestling. It has been a good seven years or so since i last saw any and even then it was only a few matches. It's drifted in and out of my life for a long time, at some points being so popular it was almost impossible to avoid.
We watched and then suddenly KANE. He had passed me by, but my friend has loved/been terrified of him in equal measures for a very long time. It's been amazing catching up on his story lines, matches, the DRAMA is delightful.

Then we find out he's been in a horror film- yay! We find it- sit and watch 'See No Evil'...and can't help being a little disappointed with a lot of aspects. Not with him, i might add. He was really very good- silent, menacing and fascinating to watch. The sets were lovely- a rotting old luxury hotel full of corridors and faded glory. The interactions between Jacob and Kira are by far the best part for me- his reverence to her tattoos, the contrast between his treatment of others and her. So much more to say, but i plan to do a picture dedicated to them, so i can talk more on that there

This is a warm up- it's heavily referenced from a photo taken at the launch of the film.Part digital, with the texture created on a printed out copy of the image and worked into with markers, watercolour and gouache. There’s been detail lost, like lots of little eyes down the right side, but apart from that I’m quite pleased. He has a really interesting face and I'd love to draw something Kane inspired and demontastic in mirror of this.

In complete contast- i've been drawing alot of this recently. Everyones got a naughty portrait, just have to ask of it's ok to post them here :D

Yay cocktails!

Yesterday was fruity mysterious drinks day- a place called Giraffe in Bury has 'Bar Buddy' (haha) offer- marked cocktails half price! We made very good use of this. My aim was simple- to find the most Pickle's-tastic one- and i got it first time :D Some kind of punch.
My friends had a giant leaf of some description- it wasn't nomable however.

Anyway- on getting home i was set a challange- to practice anatomy with a selected piece of stock everyday. I wasn't completely sober at this point- looked at it again this morning and want to cry. But a little corner Nathan happened and that i'm ok with.

 Amber Sweet to the stage! WIP for her art-card. Been a little uncertain about painting recently but have to get back in there!

 And a little section on a redesign for a friend- just making her character sheet now. SO MUCH HAIR o_o

I have another assigned naked man to draw so no more drinks.

Mag and Explosion..not together though- what a weird crossover :P

Hello! Thank you to the people that added me- it's a good incentive to kick my butt into gear and keep working :D
One more piece for the Repo collection. I fell in love the minute i saw Mag- such a tragic story and amazing presence/ voice. This is my little homage based on the 'Chromaggia' scene- those contacts combined with giant lashes much have been so uncomforable :(

And more Nathans. Saw a fantastic photo gallery on DA of big metal-band men throwing their hair around and looking hot. It was very inspiring *saves gallery*
This came from that- he has such presence on stage and i hoped to show some of that. RAWRRR.
A few little things i'm not happy with but never mind. I hope to give the other boys some mini picture love soon :D
